What to do if you decide to have your child vaccinated

These steps are a guide for parents

Ask the Immunisation Provider any questions about the vaccines including the risks and benefits of having this medical procedure at an appointment prior to giving consent to vaccinate. Give yourself time to decide.

Ask to see the Manufacturer’s leaflet which is an insert in the vaccine package.

Discuss methods of decreasing the possibility of your child experiencing an adverse reaction following immunisation with a qualified natural therapist.

Please keep note of the following information for your records:

Time and date of administration
Name and credentials of vaccine provider
Name and manufacturer of vaccine
Lot and batch number of vaccine
Written verification that the vaccine has been stored correctly at all times.
Evidence that your child is healthy at the time of vaccine administration and that he/she had been developing normally up until that time.

If at any stage you feel uncomfortable about the procedure STOP and allow yourself further research and investigation, you can always go back and have it done later. Do not allow the immunisation provider to put pressure on you – they are not responsible for your child’s health and well being, you are!
