Vaccination Information South Australia formed on the 11th of February 1997, out of a need to respond to the government push to raise immunisation levels, and a need to provide alternative factual information about vaccination, including the dangers.
We are a non-profit organisation, funded by memberships and donations and administered by volunteers.
We work to:
· Provide information and resources relating to vaccinations.
· Promote information about health, healing and the immune
system.
· Protect a parent’s right to make free and informed vaccination choices.
· Raise awareness in the community about important health
issues.
The services we provide include:
· Phone information service
· A comprehensive resource library for members
· Quarterly newsletters with the latest information
and developments
· Parent support meetings at Eastwood Community Centre
and other locations
· Range of books and videos for sale
· Regular public information seminars
Vaccination is not compulsory in Australia and there are no financial penalties for not vaccinating your child or children. It is important that you make an informed decision.
Routine vaccination may begin in the first few hours of a child's life.
